12/17 (LEWISTON, ME)American Championship Wrestling will present its first show in Maine on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the Gardiner Armory in Gardiner, ME! 

The show marks the debut of professional wrestler "Firefighter" Steve Rupard, a real-life firefighter by day for the town of Gorham. Rupard has been working behind the scenes in wrestling for a couple years, but after several months of training, January 4 will mark his debut. A Maine firefighter, this real life hero gets to play superhero in the world of wrestling. 

Other wrestlers scheduled to appear include The Damned, Larry Huntley, Jonny Idol, Justin Powers, KL Murphy, Chris Venom, Kevin Matthews, Aaron Morrison, Rob Eckos and more. 

The event will be a TV taping for the organization's new television show that will debut in central Maine on Jan. 16 via Adelphia Network, Channel 9

Tickets for the event will be available at the door the day of the show at $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins promptly at 7 p.m

Arion Tops Candido to win ACW Debut, 300 Attend first event

11/23 (Easton, MA) - With the help of legendary Captain Lou Albano, Alex Arion defeated Chris Candido with a superkick to complete ACW's first event Saturday night at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Candido and valet Tammy Lynn Sytch put up a valiant effort, but were thwarted by the tandem of Arion and Albano.

Maine Lottery Takes a Chance with ACW

11/18- (Lewiston, ME) - The Maine State Lottery, a fixture in Maine for years with the Tri-State Megabucks, Pick 3/4 and scratch tickets, has signed a deal with ACW.

Details of the deal were not announced but the Maine State Lottery and ACW  figure to be a winning combination!

ACW Be Damned! Mad Dog and Draven Are Coming!

The Damned - one of the top teams in the indies today - are heading to ACW for their inaugural show on November 23rd at Stonehill. 

Mad Dog (left) and Draven (right) have been competing in Premier Wrestling Federation rings lately and have held almost 30 different tag titles in their tenure. 

The Damned will begin their path of destruction against their two of their rivals, The Egomaniacs. Johnny Idol and Mike Steele are fighting to be known as the best...will they be able to take out the Damned on 11/23?

Inaugural Sponsors Now on Board

10/20 (Lewiston, ME) - American Championship Wrestling has inked their first three sponsors, a key component to any successful business.
